This and That

So What should I talk about? Hmm… lets take a few moments and examine the title of this post…

I titled it “This and That” because quite frankly I haven’t thought about what I’m going to write about.

Now that, that is behind us. I could write about some interesting things that are happening right now or I could write about some interesting things that are upcoming or I could write about some interesting things that already happened…
Past, Present, Future that is.

I really am just killing time… err killing blog space. :)

I will write about what is happening in my life and some techy stuff, it shall give us a unique blend to savour. :)

Lets start with ‘This’:

Well Windows 7 is really amazing! I’m liking it a lot, I’ve created a program for it already that won’t be released for awhile yet but when I do I will write about it on here. IE8 will probably be released soon and Microsoft is working on a new browser called Gazelle, sounds very interesting. You can expect me to follow what is happening in the browser wars.
There has been lots of changes in the RC build of Windows 7 I can’t wait till it is released on MSDN so that I can download it.

I read an interesting article about a hacking contest where these hackers had to hack Windows, Mac and Linux. The first one that was hacked was Mac(Being the easiest to hack as stated by the hackers) the next was Windows(not sure what version) and then Ubuntu was left standing by the end of the competition.
This is sort of a warning to make users(I know some. :P)
Hackers are also targeting Macs for viruses now so viruses for mac are becoming more and more common(not as many as Windows as Windows has been around longer, but all the same)
I don’t use Mac so I can’t give an opinion on virus protection but you can probably find a good one from this following link:

There is also a Windows Install Fest coming up in Mississauga! I’m registered to go and I’m really excited about this, I have a suspicion that that will be showing Visual Studio 2010 there! Here is the link:

Now let us end with ‘That’

My Grandmother turned 70 this year, we had a really fun evening in Newmarket celebrating her birthday. I got to meet some of my relatives that I hadn’t seen in awhile, and that was a really exciting. I think we should put on a ‘Hounsome Family Reunion’ sometime, it would be rather large and exciting! :D A Big Barbeque with plenty of burgers from M&Ms… mmm those are really good burgers, my Uncle Wes made me two of them once and they were really good, I think they were 7oz burgers. Would like to have those again. :D

So I still don’t have my G2 I’m stuck at G1, but I can be optimistic about that saying “I’m number 1!!!”
I’ll probably take my G2 test in a couple months though, I hope I pass, that’d be embarrassing if I didn’t. I’m picking up experience fast though and that is good, I still don’t have 1,000,000 miles under my belt… not in waist size miles, in vehicle miles… Crazy Guy/Girl.

We are having fellowship here tomo… Today! (Yes my lad it is after midnight) Maybe I’ll be able to get into a habit and write a post every week. Offer is still open if anyone wants to write a post!

Mom got me this cool jacket today I’m going to wear it tomorrow so if you want to see before I post pictures come on by!
Well This is as much as I could think of…

Until next time…
Have a goodie!!
Dios Bendiga y ir bendiga!

P.S. please ignore any mistakes as my fingers have been a little off on the typing today. :)
