Odds and Ends

I am writing this post not knowing what I am going to write about., But suddenly as I sit back a few ideas strike me (don’t worry, it didn’t hurt), and I decide that I will write.

This is going back into the era of the month before this month.

I am a donor, I’ve successfully donated once and the 2 other times things have happened that have made it unsuccessful, right now I refer to the 2nd unsuccessful. That day I hadn’t ate very much or drank very much which you are supposed to do when you are donating, I had forgotten that was the day I was going to be poked with that big needle (they don’t scare me. Honest!).
Long story short the nurse botched up the donation and I went home. The next day we got hit badly with a fever, one of my symptoms was the arm I donated out of felt terrible the entire time. Weeks later when I was recovered, I looked at my arm as it still hurt and I noticed a very huge bruise right around where I was jabbed. That took a further 2 weeks to go away. So now I am all good except some minor morning allergies which will be gone in a few hours.

The second thing I will talk about is that which will follow this paragraph.

Four words, “I got my G2!” :)
It was really great, I practiced a bit before I took the test. I sort of knew I was going to pass before I left the lot, as she knows my uncle and homeschooled. So I talked the entire time. It was a really easy course I won’t go into detail about the mistake I made. I wish I could go back and redo that little bit of it.
So I have my G2 now and that is great!

The next thing I am going to talk about makes me out to be more of the person I already am.

Let’s see... April 14th was my G2 test so this was April 16th.
I did not have insurance as of yet. So I couldn’t drive, but as dad and I drove down to Barrie we called in to get me insured. We went did some quotes and then I drove from the quote to Alliston where I got (drum roll please) glasses! It only took about 30 minutes to order and have them.
It was actually a bit scary with my glasses as everything looked deeper, so I did things at first like pull too far out into traffic, not slow down fast enough, etc…
So I was getting a little annoyed at the glasses, so I did things like kept a safer distance behind vehicles. I walked into stores and would move my glasses up and down on my face looking at the difference in quality, it was really quite something.

Since the above spoken; I’ve done things along the lines of, driving around doing quotes and going to home shows. Yesterday I got back from a Green Living Show in Toronto; I was very tired so I didn’t drive. :)

For the near future I need to save up a little more money and invest in a hard drive that actually works and doesn’t crash on me all the time. I’m debating between a Seagate and a Western Digital. Maybe I get one for free, that is always nice.

The Jost family is coming to stay with us on Saturday; that will be fun.

Windows 7 RC is going to be able for me to download in a few days, probably between the 28th and 30th and I am excited. If anyone else is excited about trying out the RC you will be able to download it on May 5th.

I’m hoping to be getting a cell phone very shortly. And get marketing material.
In about half a year I am thinking of renaming my company that more brings into focus what exactly it is I do. Any suggestions are welcome. :) But I will probably sell my current domain name, as it gets good traffic.

I have somewhat run out of ideas on what to write, but that is ok. I will think of something else soon enough and maybe I will (seriously this time) start blogging more often than not.

Until Next Post!

Adios!
