Of This and That and Other Things…

Today began like any other day… With waking up. I arose out of bed and rushed down to a store that deals in computer peripherals. I ask them about a part for our camera to retrieve the pictures off. But to no avail. Alas, the closest location to get such a part is in a city called Nags Head. About 50 miles down the road.

By the way, What would possess someone to call a town “Nags Head”? Maybe it is a town of civilians that are tasked with the job of nagging every hapless soul that enters the town. But then they should drop the “Head” and replace it with “Ville” or “Town”
Food for though. eh?

So anyways, we are going to go to Nags Ville (err… Head) on the weekend and pick up this crucial piece of camera equipment. Then all my fine fellow group of blog readers will have pictures to gaze upon! :D
Don’t complain please, considering a blog is for reading not for gazing. :P

Among other activities that filled (lol this is a pun on something I’m about to write about :P) the day; I dug a hole (This isn’t where the pun fits in). The measurements of said hole is roughly 10’ x 23’ x 1’. Totaled to 230 cubic feet.
That is a pretty big hole! I looked online and it said 1 cubic foot of sand is between 90lb and 110lb. So that was about 9 to 10 tonnes of sand we excavated! Pretty impressive. I decided to dig it so that when high tide came the water would fill it up and make a pool, and also it was a good activity and exercise. haha. THE STUPID TIDE!!!! It did not come. :’( So I was left with an empty pool. hmm…
Before we left (and this is where the pun fits in, I know the tension has amassed greatly) dad told us to fill it in! (Get the pun? lol)
Now this wasn’t a small hole. This was huge, like fatter than me! Yea, it was big! so we set to the job of filling the hole in. We filled it in such a way that people wouldn’t get hurt. But not entirely, cause I think we’d still be out there.

Also, another thing that happened today is Microsoft released IE9 Beta! I must say it is a really nice browser. ;) Nice and fast! :D All Windows Users should check it out!

I also started writing a new blog post for today, but I won’t go into very much detail onto the contents of that blog post other than the fact that I am currently writing it and am just wasting my time trying to think of other things things to write about for it… Nope, can’t think of anything else. I’ll publish it now.

God bless you all! Love you all! Thanks for having the patience to actually read these long, drawn out monologues. :P

Beebo! :)
