The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

You may well ask “Why such a title as that oh wise writer?”
Too which I would respond, “Sit back and listen to my tale, it is full of happiness, but also of woe and despair”
Yea, that was a weird beginning. I’ll restart. :P
So we slept in a bit today…. We as in I. :P When I did arise I awoke with a pain in my back. I immediately associated it (Thanks to my associational skills. :P) with the big hole that I dug the previous day. Meh, it’ll go away eventually. ;)
I then went upstairs to join in on a nice breakfast spread of Eggs, toast, sausage, cheese and ketchup. Oh and do not forget the coffee! :)
The plan for the day was to arrive at the beach in Frisco later than usual and stay till after sunset. Great plan! :)
We get to the beach and it is fairly gusty. The waves were big and the rip-currents were strong. They were getting a good work-out. :P
We did swimming… as usual. Despite the ocean being powerful. The next few days are supposed to be worse as per some hurricanes.
I slept on the beach a lot. Working on my tan. haha :)
Here I will entail the disparaging part of the day. It all started with a Coconut. Yes, a coconut.
It would seem that it had fallen off of the tree (in Florida or some other place that has Coconut trees)
Maybe this one came from Hawaii or South America.
We started at the doomed task of peeling the outer layer of the coconut off to get to the hard shell…
This is where things get ugly. The faint hearted should skip this part.
There was a hole at the top of the coconut and there was this thick white substance. Zachary takes the coconut and tips it upside down, pouring some white liquid into his hand. He then commenced  by smelling the liquid, followed by throwing his hand as far from his nose as possible. I then followed suit by pouring some in my hand, then did the same thing, I threw my hand away. Then I brought it back to judge just how bad it stunk…. On a scale of 1 to 10; this’d be a 20. It was that bad. Second time smelling it I stand up and go towards the ocean gagging and doing all I can not to puke everywhere. My stomach was spinning in circles. This thing is by far the worst thing I have ever smelt, I did not think anything could stink that bad.
I will go talk to my siblings to try and recount a good description for the smell.
So I just asked Zack and he said it smelt like “death” lol, he also said the last time he smelt something in that category of badness was a dead dog in Ecuador. Then he went on to say that it smelt way worse than a rotten animal and agreed with me on my opinion that it was the worst thing him or I have ever smelt.
I think that should give you a fair idea of the smell.
Nekoda and I then decided to break it open to see what it looked like. So we went to the parking lot and I made Nekoda (lol, thank goodness for little brothers!) throw it at the ground and break it. Yep! It smelt the same as before, we found that out!. :P It also looked disgusting. It kinda looked like mother of pearl, but in a ridiculously gross way. Coconut shouldn’t look like that. It was semi-transparent everywhere.
So there you have it! Nekoda took pics, we’ll post them later. haha
Ok, the faint hearted can look back now.
After that escapade, I set to scrubbing my hand, I used sand and a shell and was at it for quite awhile. lol, then I went to sleep again.
We then started packing up to leave and then went and took pics in the setting sun. I also jumped the same distance I did when I injured my foot. This time I didn’t injure myself. :) Maybe the sand had something to do with that. lol
God bless!
Love you all!
Thank you Livvie for pointing out the typo. ;)
